I’m new to the product and I’m not sure how to get it working - to share a roadmap with a client.

The 2 options available:

 - Start Presenting … is there a way I can share this link with the client so that they can log in with their own account to see it? Or is the idea only that this link would be used by me during a live presentation?

 - Download: doesn’t seem to work. All I get is a download called “undefined” 1KB in size.

Thanks!

Hi @solveitservices!

Welcome to Lifecycle Manager!

Start presenting: Yes, the idea here is that you would present this live in a customer call (over video/screen share). Full article can be found here.

Download: is not available on the free version. You need to upgrade to gain access to this feature.

Thank you!
Liza

Hi @solveitservices, welcome aboard! 👋

Here’s how sharing Roadmaps works today:

  • Start Presenting

    • This option is designed for live use only. You’d open the Roadmap on your screen and then share it during a customer meeting (e.g., via Zoom, Teams, etc.).

    • There isn’t currently a way to generate a permanent link that clients can log into and view themselves. Think of it as a presentation mode for interactive discussions rather than a shareable portal.

    • In the free version, the Download feature won’t work (that’s why you’re seeing the “undefined” file).

    • To generate a proper, branded PDF of your Roadmap, you’ll need to be on a paid plan. From there, you can customize what’s included (cover page, timeline, initiative status, budget, etc.) and email it directly to your client.

So in short:

  • Free users → Present live only.

  • Paid users → Present live and export professional PDFs to share afterward.

Hope that clears it up! 👍
