Lifecycle Manager

Hi,With HPE Aruba switches, Lifecycle Manager is picking up the base warranty which is generally for a 5 month period before it moves to the Limited lifetime warranty that has years on it. Here is an example:Do I have to manually go in an update each of the switches with the correct warranty date or is this something you can fix centrally, or have the system pick up the correct warranty?  Regards

Is there a way to specify which data source is used for the final summary in the ScalePad reporting integration?We’ve noticed that some of our assets receive data from both Datto RMM and HP Inc Lookup, but the final summary currently selects HP Inc Lookup as the source. We would prefer it to use the Datto RMM data instead.Could you please advise if there’s a setting or configuration to control this behavior?

I’m looking to move my multi-factor from one app to another, but I don’t see a way to reset it in my profile. Anyone know how to do that when it’s required by an administrator?Is there a way for another admin to reset it?

I’m new to the product and I’m not sure how to get it working - to share a roadmap with a client.The 2 options available: - Start Presenting … is there a way I can share this link with the client so that they can log in with their own account to see it? Or is the idea only that this link would be used by me during a live presentation?  - Download: doesn’t seem to work. All I get is a download called “undefined” 1KB in size. Thanks!

Hey everyone,I wanted to see if anyone else has run into this problem with ScalePad Lifecycle Manager.We recently had a client rename in ConnectWise, and noticed that Lifecycle Manager essentially treated it like a brand-new client. I reached out to ScalePad support, and their response was that the product is working as designed and we should just rename the client back.Yeah… that ain’t gonna work.Here’s why: The Client ID in ConnectWise doesn’t change when a company is renamed. That’s the persistent identifier that tools like Lifecycle Manager should be keying off of, not the display name. Telling us to “rename it back” completely breaks operational workflows. Clients rebrand, get acquired, merge, or simply change names — and reverting back is not an option in the real world. This creates unnecessary data fragmentation and additional manual cleanup in Lifecycle Manager. I’m curious — has anyone else run into this issue? I would like to be able to query the Lifecycle manager data from a REST API - We are trying to build automated data driven reports and need the data to parse the data from other tools and portals. I don’t see any documentation for the ScalePad API and was hoping I am just missing it. 

I can’t tell if they’re running or not, because I’m not receiving the Test message.  Do I need to configure something in the system settings?Thank you

Thank you for the ability for DATTO EDR logging into the reporting.  Now I am noticing Scalepad does not recogonize VSAX not being picked up on the reporting.  I know our clients have the RMM installed, but Scalepad show it does not.  This still prevents me from sending reports to clients.  Do we have a timeframe for VSAX recognized as RMM installed on devices?

When we first signed up for this service a couple of months ago I had the ability to create a new initiative based on an insight (workstations over X years old) and spread the workstations across X amount of quarters. I was then able to move computers between those quarters. I no longer see this functionality. Is it removed or has it been moved somewhere else? This is a basic function that sold us on the platform in the first place. The program is not much use if we cannot easily and intuitively plan out our equipment lifecycle. Thanks

I don’t do this very often. I’ve noticed that not all my client companies are syncing over from ITG. I’ve checked the sync status and everything seems correct. Is there someplace that filters on specific companies to sync? None of my new clients show up in Scalepad. 

Can Lifecycle Manager show the vendor’s end of life date in addition to the warranty date?     My industry has moved to focusing on EOS/EOL as the key to whether they replace  vs just warranty or age.     Having this readily available in the reporting would be amazing.    

Anyone able to share how you remove a client and the associated assets?  I believe I have looked all over but just can not see how you remove a client and or assets.  

As the title says. Give us back the basic features we signed up for.I report weekly on how many desktops & servers are out of warranty. I used to be able to log in, see this information, and log out. Please give us back the BASIC functionality so we can see at a glimpe how many desktops & server are out of warranty, without having to deep dive into all the BS. 

Has anyone else got the issue, where the issues warning does not take you to the asset when you click on it?  You have to go digging to get the asset(s) in question.  

We have an integration with Datto RMM enabled and there is a problem with the syncing. Last month we purchased an extended coverage for a couple computers in an organization and when it synced the updated warranty information it put the date the transaction was made, not the new warranty expiration date. I can see in the configuration history that the sync was performed specifically by the scalepad API. Is there an issue with this functionality or some other setting we need to adjust?

Is there a specific reason why older runtimes is displaying in red, even though it has the latest support version? These runtimes are essential for applications that require them, and although we can't remove them from computers due to application dependencies, the red color may convey an unsupported status. How can we present this more positively for front-facing clients?
