A Quoter user with Ingram Micro as one of their distributors shared this email they received:

 



"Dear valued customer,


As previously communicated, Ingram Micro’s legacy IM-XML integration solution is being decommissioned. You are receiving this communication as you are a current active user of this solution, interacting with us for price and availability, order status and/or ordering, and invoicing. The deadline to transition to an alternative option was December 31, 2024. As this deadline has passed, your connection via XML will be disabled on Friday, April 4, 2025.


To avoid disruption to your business, we kindly urge you to review alternative options on Ingram Micro's Xvantage platform, which includes real-time API solutions (our alternative to XML). You can also check out our newest Integrations Hub for our native integrations or 3rd-party connectors into the most used CRMs, CPQs, and ERPs in the market.


Thank you for your continued business and continuing to build our relationship through Xvantage. For any questions regarding this notification, please contact ECS or call 1(800) 616-4665 8AM-8PM EST."

 

To avoid interruption to your workflow (and avoid doing a bunch of manual lookups), you will need to make the switch to Ingram Micro’s REST API solution by registering on the self-serve portal at https://developer.ingrammicro.com

Please have a read through our Help Center article BEFORE you set this up, as you will need to select certain API Catalog items.
