I am a Super Admin in our MSP and currently the person who creates most of the client tenants. I noticed that whoever creates a tenant is the person who gets auto assigned to the following:

  • Framework owner
  • Control set owner (when control sets are loaded)
  • Evidence request owner AND assignee (when system auto-creates evidence request)
  • Policies, procedures and governance documents (when created manually or by loading a template)

In one of the tenants, I set all of the above to another user and I currently have my notification channels set to “email” and have my notification preferences as follows:

Notify me only when I am added as a watcher

You will be notified of changes or updates to a policy, procedure, evidence, control, or risk when you explicitly add yourself as a watcher to that entity.

Notify me only when I am an owner

You will be notified of changes or updates to entities like policy or evidence that you created or you own.

Notify me only when I am assigned

You will be notified of changes or updates when you are directly assigned by someone to that evidence or action item.

I do NOT have the following selected:

Notify me of all activity (* Only for compliance managers)

As a compliance manager, you will be notified of all activity in the system for Evidence, Policies, Procedures, Controls and Risks.

Why am I still getting emails about all things in this tenant when I have nothing assigned to me? Is it because I am the creator of the tenant? I want the ability to get notified on something if its assigned to me (as I have selected) however I don’t need emails about the various changes - example was the numerous emails I received about evidence request changes a co-worker was doing. I am neither the owner or the assignee or watching those evidence requests.

What setting am I missing to change this? thank you
