Lifecycle Insights has implemented Stack Alignment Categories, a feature that enables you to more easily group services and monitor alignment opportunities by category on the Stack Alignment page. This update provides a more structured and efficient method for categorizing services and their sub-services.
Key Highlight:
- Stack alignment categories are a higher-level filter compared to Stack alignment tags. This enables you to “Categorize” their services and allow for sub-services (tags).
For example, if a partner has a Stack Alignment category set to Firewalls, you can then have two new tags Firewall v1 (old depreciated firewall) and Firewall v2 (new firewall).
Benefits:
- Allow you to more easily group services and monitor alignment opportunities by category on the Stack Alignment page.
- Eliminate the need to overload services with tags.
- Added flexibility on how you can visualize stack alignment data with another level of filtering.
